| Who we are! | Why we came about ~~~~~ | ||||||||||||||||
| Dirty Steve is made up of four people, Brian, me (Vocals, Guitar, Lyrics), Fuzz (Lead Guitar, Vocals), Eddy G (Bass) and Mark Yates on Drums - | We all went to school at Uddingston grammar in Scotland and played together now and again in school, it was only when we started to meet on a regular, and drunken, basis at Bothwell Castle where, for most of year we would hang around talk shit and drink alot of cheap cider, (ahh '96 what a year) That we decided to make our band, me and Fuzz had just started Uni' at Caledonia and thought that as the Uni' sucked it would be a good idea to start a band and maybe not get killed from our parents for quiting. That's how it started.... last updated 9 - 1 - 1999 The News New Band memeber unveiled!! Mark Yates has become the new drummer after Gill' had to leave to go to Uni', we all wish her the best (yeah right). Official gig to be announced, tour to follow. New songs are to be released as part of charity tape, Dance Hall Crashers Crashed my Balls, Ulster Man and TOTP can kiss my arse all included Dirty Steve to play millenium gig!!! As part of a charity appeal and fund raiser, Dirty Steve may (unconfirmed) play at the Edinburgh Street Festival. | ||||||||||||||||

| As for our style I would say it was rock/grunge sort of like No Fx meets Pearl Jam! Most of the Lyrics to my songs are the age oppresing youth teenage angst type bullshit, which to be honest seems to be taking up quite a bit of the music charts right now, but heh isn't that what lifes all about when your 18? We have ten songs so far, most of them are a bit rough but endearing, I feel that we should go places but doesn't every small time band?
